Different biling methods

You can choose between two different methods for the billing of vehicle costs:

  • Closed billing
  • Open billing


Closed billing

We take care of the checking work relating to your vehicle fleet as far as possible. A fixed monthly tariff is agreed at the start of the lease contract. The amount of this tariff will depend on the vehicles you choose. It is a question of the lowest price: this does not change throughout the entire leasing period.

Advantages:
  • Saves you time in the area of checking
  • Risk borne by Arval


Disadvantages:

  • no detailed overview of the costs incurred


Open billing

In the case of open billing you receive an agreed price. We estimate all the costs that can be expected during the term of the contract. Together with you, we reduce the administrative costs relating to your vehicle fleet to the bare essentials. After comparing the estimated costs and the actual costs, we draw up a bill at the end of the leasing period. The positive balance of all leasing contracts that came to an end in a year is invoiced.


Advantages:

  • Actual costs 
  • Detailed insight into all transactions
  • Operating result can be influenced for each contract


Disadvantages:

  • Large amount of checking involved
